Hey everyone. So, those who follow this blog might be a little confused as to where all my content has gone or who I even am, for I have done a huge sweep and cleaned out my blog, which is currently under construction. Or, you might not have even noticed at all. Who knows.
I’ve had this blog for 2-3 years, and over the time on Tumblr , I’ve been known as SerpentineCasanova, AsktheNumerals, august-crimdell, the-celestial-bear-cub, and Bear-of-the-void to some. I mainly focused on roleplaying, drawing, and shitposting. Just like any many other blogs.
Well now, I am trying to do something that will benefit others and give me something different to do. I’m starting my first official Youtube channel. I’ve made a couple but they never really got too far. I’m hoping that this surpasses all the others I made.
At first, I plan on starting out with about, 2-3 segments and in time, if things pick up, I may add more, it all really depends on how things go with the channel and the blog.
I know one of the segments is going to be “Artist Spotlight”, where I practically showcase 5 or more artists each week if I can get permission from them, to help raise awareness on their talents.
Another segment that I had in mind was ”Narration Station”, which involves you guys sending in small fanfictions, stories, or just about anything else that you want read aloud, be it anonymous or not, and I obviously, will narrate them. (These video’s will either be included within the same video’s as the Artist Spotlight, unless they are a bigger fanfiction, into which I will read them and put them into a separate video.)
The reason I see this channel benefiting others is because as an artist and writer myself, I know that it’s hard to get credit in the artist/writer community. People focus on artists/writers who already have caught their eye, and sometimes don’t even bat an eyelash to the artists/writers who are improving on their work.
I know that it’s a big project, I still need to get a good microphone and a new art tablet, but I wanted to do things to help others and bring a bit of entertainment to you all while I am at it. If you have any idea’s for my segments or questions about the channel, I would LOVE to get some feedback or anything that might help! There is so much that I can do for this! Any kind of support would be appreciated!
